My Background

Change is difficult but is a welcome relief when we are suffering. I welcome those seeking change, enthusiastically or reluctantly. We are all changing (the only constant). I work with people to make those changes conscious and long-lasting. I help them find balance in the change process, recognizing successes and sitting in discomfort together. I have a holistic approach to meeting each client where they are through cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Despite cultural or ethnic similarities or differences, each individual has their own family and their own story, I look forward to learning who you are and how you see the world.

I have twenty-five years of experience working with parents and young children, celebrating your strengths, and building skills for the challenges while appreciating the humor of stumbling along the way. With a background in yoga and meditation, we can incorporate mindfulness and movement based on comfort level into our sessions. I appreciate thinking outside the box and look forward to finding creative ways of meeting your change goals.
