One of Rachel’s primary focuses is in the area of behavioral change through a values-oriented lens. She is a member of the motivational interviewing network of trainers, an international organization that assists in building motivational skills to facilitate intentional change.
Within a therapeutic role, Rachel takes on a holistic approach with genuineness and enthusiasm to walk alongside clients in their journey to improve their quality of life. She works collaboratively in the client’s discovery of self/finding meaning/areas of growth
Rachel supports clients in navigating the steps towards such changes through an eclectic style of motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy, and solutions-oriented approach.
She takes a vested interest in play therapy techniques for work on finding meaning and self-discovery. In addition, she uses solutions-focused collaborative problem-solving.
