My Background
I’m a dedicated therapist with a background in social work, criminal justice, and adoption services. With a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, I specialize in working with teens, adults, and elders—particularly those navigating complex life experiences including adoption, justice involvement, trauma, and identity development.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep belief in each client’s potential for growth. I utilize evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment-Based therapy. My work is informed by a multicultural and strength-based lens.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, personality disorders (including BPD and antisocial traits), domestic and sexual abuse, substance use, and adoption-related transitions. I am especially passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and AAPI communities, and I strive to create a space where every identity is affirmed.
